Un waith am byth oedd/yn ddigon

(Un Aberth)
Un waith am byth oedd ddigon
  I wisgo'r goron ddrain;
Un waith am byth oedd ddigon
  I ddyodde'r bicell fain;
Un aberth mawr gwirfoddol
  A ddofodd ddwyfol lid;
Un Iesu croeshoeliedig
  Sy'n Feddyg
      trwy'r holl fyd.

Bechadur, gwel E'n sefyll
  Yn llonydd ar y groes;
Clyw'r gruddfan sy'n ei enaid
  Dan ddyfnder angeu loes;
O! gwrando ar ei ruddfan,
  Mae pob ochenaid drud
Yn floedd yn nghlustiau'r nefoedd
  Am faddeu
      beiau'r byd.

(One Sacrifice)
Once forever was enough
  To wear the crown of thorns;
Once forever was enough
  To suffer the sharp spear;
One great, voluntary sacrifice
  Which tamed divine wrath;
One Jesus crucified
  Who is a Physician
      throughout the whole world.

Sinner, see him standing
  Calmly on the cross;
Hear the groaning that is in his soul
  Under the depth of the throes of death;
O listen to his groaning,
  Every costly moan is
A shout in the ears of heaven
  For the forgiveness
      of the world's faults.
